Dear All
Once again we are writing to you to let you know that we have to announce that we will have to continue with our shutdown of our Village Hall. During August and early September it has become apparent that we are still unable to guarantee the safety which will enable us to be able to resume bookings and Hiring.
During these past two weeks it has become clearer that our area Breckland, is facing an escalation in the R rate which means we feel that we will not be able to restart our usual Village Hall activities -with multiple users having short booking times.
Once again we have had updated advice from the ACRE association of Village Halls who suggest that it is impossible for us to ensure the Covid 19 cleanliness standards between the many diverse hirers.
We are continuing to monitor the situation each week but do not envisage that we will be able to open in the immediate future.
We shall continue to support our NHS—Diabetes and Blood Donation services and our Village School. Our next visit for Blood donation Team is the 13th October
We are looking forward to welcoming you all back in the future once we are able to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all our Hirers and for the surrounding communities.
Best wishes
Martin Stockdale, Chair, and all the Trustees.
